Some say they could never foster because it would be too hard to say goodbye when the dog is adopted – but consider the alternative. Without fosters willing to open their homes to dogs in need, rescue can’t happen.
When you join BTRC as a foster volunteer not only will you be making a real difference in the life of a rescued dog, but you’ll also get to know some great people who share your passion for Boston Terriers. You’ll enrich your life by having the companionship of a deserving dog without the financial responsibility or lifelong commitment. And though some tears may fall when your foster dog is adopted, you’ll feel a wonderful sense of accomplishment and pride that YOU helped them blossom along their journey to a loving new forever home.
And of course there’s another trick to help heal a broken foster heart 💔 – you can foster again.❤️🐾
