There’s been another failure here at BTRC – and we couldn’t be happier! Lovely Lacey has found her forever home with her foster family. Not only are her hoomans over-the-moon, Lacey and her new BT siblings make up the cutest trio of silly, sweet, saucy – and snoring!
Congratulations to all! ❤️🐾

Lacey’s ride home after her spay surgery was a little fuzzy for her, but she did look remarkably cute in her new pink recovery suit. Happy to be back at her foster home, she slept the night away in her crate, then woke up happy – and hungry!
She’ll still be taking it easy for a few days, of course (often easier said than done with an active Boston Terrier!). Stitches will be removed in a couple of weeks, and because Lacey’s liver enzymes were ever-so-slightly elevated on her pre-op bloodwork, she’ll have that retested in a month just to be on the safe side.
Then, fingers crossed, this lovely lady will be ready to find her forever home!

Introducing Lacey!
A recent addition to the BTRC foster family is one-year-old Lacey. Lacey is what’s known as a ‘splash’ Boston Terrier; her predominantly white coat has splashes of colour. We think her floppy ears and unique colouring combine to make her absolutely adorable.
Lacey came to rescue because, through no fault of anyone, she was just not a good fit in her previous home. We’re still getting to know her but can report that she is settling in well at her foster home. A lovable and social girl, Lacey is already good friends with the two resident Bostons there and is happily soaking up all the TLC from her foster mom and dad!
Lacey will still need to be spayed before leaving rescue so is not yet ready for adoption. Lacey is being fostered in the Halton Region of Ontario.
